You are on a long trip, driving alone. It is night and you are on a two lane rural highway. You are getting close, but have another hour or so before arrival. You hear a horn and suddenly wake up. Headlights are coming right for you. You slam on your brakes, jerk the wheel back into your lane, travel off the road into a ditch and come to rest when you slam into a tree.

You wake up some time later. Groggy, you take inventory: no blood, no broken bones. You are alive. Even with this realization, you aren’t exactly in the mood for confetti and champagne. And if Mitt wins, you shouldn’t be either. For the same reasons.
I think that Racquets was an Olympic sport in about 1904. Zug has written about it. I think John Jacob Astor IV won a bronze medal in doubles.pretty sure Eustace Miles and Vane Pennell were the singles medalists. Not sure if Court Tennis was contested. They played the matches at Queens Club. Synchronized anything is completely retarded.
My father used to say that you should never play a sport in which an animal can kick your a.= running and jumping and swimming are at the top of that list. Jane, very well spoken. If we love doing something, we do it out of love. Not guilt.Seems like the problem lies in everyone comparing themselves to everyone else.
Well, she finished another book, and he got some poetry published. Of course, that’s most likely always been the problem, but maybe more so with writers.Having the elaborate technology now, which allows everyone’s business in our business, certainly keeps us on our toes, unless we choose to relax them for a bit. In resting, we sometimes discover our stories. Actually the OC got more than just a “talking to”. I think he also got officially warned.
TODAY reported that “two supervising officers have been issued letters of warning for poor judgment in administering inappropriate disciplinary action.”I agree with you. Hongyi did the right thing by raising and reporting this matter. Although it was wrong for him to shoot an email up to the Minister, CDF and COA, I can relate with the sentiments of a idealistic young man who saw something wrong and wants as many people as possible to know about it. I guess he let his emotions at that time get the better of him.
Thanks for the question Mark. I thought a lot about the local-global perspective as I was writing the post.
I would say that my post was written through a specifically American lens. My knowledge of global trends is limited, so I'm not certain how broad some of these trends might be. I think that the pace of change and technology shifts are clearly global trends.
However, the resuting impacts might look very different depending on the culture of a particular country or region. What do you think? Hi Rich -There is a map of the park and directions on our website:. It’s a google earth map so you can zoom in/out as needed. If you want to leave before the kids’ tri is done, park in the EAST parking lot which is across the street from the main entrance to the park. If you can stay through the kids tri and awards ceremony (12:30) then park inside the park as it’s much closer for lugging your stuff. There will be volunteers waving you in when you arrive.
And more info here: See you at the park! I view the North American Indians as having an incomplete nutritional package.
Animal foods are essential to the diet in order to grow properly. (I base this on my reading of Weston Price's Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.) Skeletal remains from corn eaters are much less healthy than the hunter gathers. I suspect that population density was limited by the amount of animal food that the tribes could hunt or fish. I view cannibalism as a means to nutritionally supplement their diet. Compared to regular muscle meat, meat from heart is very nutritious, particularly in vitamin B12 which is only found in animal foods. Hi,I originally sent this the other day, but it said it was awaiting moderation.
Then it wasn’t there. Anyway My question was about the metadata that is originally with the raw files when first imported into Aperture that included aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc. Do I need to either write the IPTC to master or do the XMP sidecar option before I import them into Lightroom in order for Lightroom to see that info?
I’m not worried about keeping any keywords, etc that I may have entered after importing them into Aperture.Thank you for your help as well as this very instructive article! Hey John,I like your latest post. You’re really preaching to the choir with me. How goes your own battle with improving your posture? I know how hard it can be for those of us that spend a lot of time at the computer. But it never ceases to amaze me how fast the body can change it’s alignment if given the proper stimulus (movement, air, water, food). So here’s to you and everyone else living a pain free and active lifestyle.
It is after all our birthright. Cheers!Take care and keep moving,Justin Archer aka “The Posture Guy”.
Absolutely LOVED this! Oh my goodness, is she incredible or what?I have to say, this blog is the largest influence on my wardrobe (which is a bit scattered – oi – to see everything I will be wearing the next 3 months, you can look here:runawaymaggiemay.blogspot.com/2011/09/textures-colours-my-wardrobe-on-quilt.html )I'm not as good as your ladies at putting things together, but I do love bright colours, tangible textures, and anything that makes me happy when I put it on.Which, as I've heard from some of the wonderful women you 've encountered, what this is all about. Hello, Matsoe.
Thanks for your suggestion. I had the plan to include how to pronounce certain words but it will not happen near in the future. Right now I am still focusing on making this blog a content rich blog. For the time being, if you’d like to know how a certain word should be pronounced, you can visit dictionary.com.
The link is on your right screen. By the way, if you started to love English because of “WHOAT”, I started to love English because of “BLAADI”. It’s a pleasure to know you. Randy,While I agree with you guys 100% that credit is the best form of money (also holds in my small toy economy), it does not solve one question:What is the denomination of your credit?I think that in this time and age, it should be some unit of a service that the issuer can provide at any time, which may or may not be commodity backing. For example, SMS (short text messaging over mobile networks) would be a very nice backing for a credit-currency. Mobile operators are already busily replacing banks in many sectors of the economy. My hair is a bit on the wiry side which makes for slight control issues, plus I’m usually twisting my hair up partway through the day, without a styling aid, so sometimes I have to try a few times to get the pins in the optimal spot. But usually it’s twirl (hair into a bun), twist (one in the bottom and one in the top) and done, much like your quick-bun action.
And when I let my hair down later — pretty waves, without the weird kick I’d get if I’d used an elastic to secure it.Janine recently posted. Just thought of a big pro for Logos. I’m pretty sure that with Logos, your licensed to install the software + books on as many computers as you own. So you can install the program on your laptop, your wife’s laptop, and a desktop computer at home (running Windows or OS X) and you can access all your bibles, books, and tools (as long as you login with the same account everywhere). On the other hand, I think Accordance has a more traditional license, where you can only install the software on one machine at a time. Obviously reading the comments here most everybody else had a much different experience than I did. I saw almost no voter enthusiasm, and what little I did see was mostly negative enthusiasm (anti-Obama, not pro-Romney) while people in other parts of the country report tremendous turnout and enthusiasm.
But then I live in a county that went 52% Ron Paul in the primary (not me, while I think he would make a great treasury secretary, I think he would be a terrible president) and Romney came in either fourth or fifth with single digit percentages.
