Features of Robert McNeel Flamingo nXt 5 Flamingo nXt 5 offers Rhino users realistic results by simulating light transport in your model. Both indirect lighting and complex reflection/refraction can be easily incorporated into the simulation. NXt accomplishes this by using modern ray-casting technology to produce results as quickly as possible. Flamingo nXt is also designed to minimize the time and effort required to set up a model for rendering. Now compatible with Rhino This website uses cookies. V-Ray 3 for Rhino is made for designers. And it’s now faster than ever to create great-looking renders right in Rhino.
V-Ray 3 is built to be the smartest and fastest renderer for Rhino. With new quick render presets and intuitive controls, you can focus on design, not the technical details. Its twin-engine rendering architecture can take full advantage of the latest CPU or GPU hardware.
With V-Ray’s full suite of tools, you can render anything and everything – from quick design concepts to your most detailed 3D models. Key Differentiators. Easy to use: Easy to learn and easy to use, V-Ray works seamlessly with Rhino’s versatile 3D modeling tools. Quality: V-Ray lets you render the highest quality images possible – right in Rhino.
Power: V-Ray gives you the power to render anything and everything – from quick concepts to your largest and most detailed 3D models. Speed: Render fast, design faster. V-Ray for Rhino Key Features. Twin-engine performance: V-Ray comes with two powerful rendering engines. With CPU or GPU acceleration, you can choose the fastest one for your hardware.
Interactive rendering: Render while you design. Technical Details / System Requirements: V-Ray for Rhino is a plug-in for Rhino3d, we would suggest referring to the standard hardware advice for Rhino 5: There are also some sample build Rhino3d Workstations suitable for rendering here: Basic Specification Requirements: Rhino 5 for Windows runs on ordinary Windows desktop and laptop computers, with: Hardware:. 1 GB RAM. 8 GB or more is recommended. Thanks for the info Scott I’ll be happy to bang on the beta when you are ready. On the verge of a new CAD ecosystem - Win 10 - MS Surface portable - custom built for Rhino workstation - 2 unit render farm - 3d scanner & graphics tablet. New clients heavily dependent on good renderings and 3d printing.
Sticking with Win 7x64 and Rhino 5 + Flamingo nXt v3 until this all settles down. One client is asking me to add animation (Bongo?) to the mix but nothing committed yet. All fun and great capabilities provided by y’all at McNeel. Powered by, best viewed with JavaScript enabled.
